After much looking around and massive google-ing, I was able to get the installer to start booting HOWEVER I'm 100% sure that I've ran out of RAM when installing.
I get this error:
(default pager) [1]ps_allocate_cluster: no space in available paging segments; swapon suggested
(default pager) [2]ps_allocate_cluster: no space in available paging segments; swapon suggested
(default pager) [3]ps_allocate_cluster: no space in available paging segments; swapon suggested
And then the computer stops. Apple-ctrl-reset works to reset the machine.
I have a total of about 12MB ram (Yes I know... It's not a lot) but I really really want to try out linux on my mac! TONIGHT!
I'll admit I AM a linux n00b still. This would be a great way for me to learn about it a bit.
I don't know where to configure swapon to enable. I've partitioned a 512mb chunk of the hard drive to act as swap. But I don't know how I tell the installer where it is...
Help!
